One Year Anniversary goes off with a bang

The Red Lion celebrated its one year anniversary in style on the 10th November with a party which featured a professional firework display, a hog roast and a plentiful supply of wine to mark the occasion.

The event saw guests treated to samples of the menu, including The Red Lion's famed homemade pizza, before braving the cold to enjoy an elaborate array of fireworks and a hog roast platter to honour the birthday celebrations.

Since Oakman Inns & Restaurants took ownership of The Red Lion towards the end of 2009, extended and renovated it into a modern public house and contemporary Mediterranean restaurant, it has been a roaring success and continues to prove increasingly popular with locals and visitors alike.

With an impending seasonal menu change and a brand new Prix Fixe lunch menu, The Red Lion will offer an even more inspiring selection of dishes, as well as its traditional seasonal offerings across the busy festive period.
